I bought Hanes sweatpants online TWICE! First four pairs ('petite') fit--except they had 34 inch inseams.

So when the same item was advertised with 29 inch inseams, I ordered five pairs and designated the originals as give-aways. EXCEPT: the shorter ones turned out to have a supersize waist! Way-to- big to be labeled 'petite,' as both sets of pants were. I won't order Hanes one more time for sure.

I am donating the shorter ones: it is possible to shorten the legs, but not to make the waist smaller (unless you are expert seamstress!) I am really disappointed in this company I used to like and depend on for inexpensive necessities.

I will also be much more careful relying on online search engines. ( I hope the women who get the donated sweats can wear them without hiring someone to alter them!
